The project is rooted in the current context and operational purpose of a water reservoir located in a parking lot in Basel. That is to say, being filled, and being emptied. The concept revolves around the understanding that the act of emptying can only exist if something has been filled.

On the roof of the reservoir, a digital counter descends from 6,000,000 (the reservoir’s liter capacity) to 0, symbolizing the emptying process. The counter’s speed is calculated to ensure it reaches 0 by the end of the exhibition.
